Vaughan McClellan was born to a life of comfort and ease, and embraced this without argument.

As a blooming author who has suffered an extended case of writers block, he is forced to leave his comfortable lifelong home and daily routine in exchange for a year long deal that will change more than just the way he has his morning tea.

"At some point while he argued with himself, he had made his way half down the hall and could hear the voices louder, but it wasn't until his name rung out that any of it registered. Suddenly, he was tugged back down to reality with a heavy hand landing on his shoulder, causing him to promptly squeak in absolute terror.

Hand clutching his chest , heart rabbiting underneath he spun around to see Myles standing, hand still outstretched, and that stony look morphing from its grim demeanor raising those heavy brows and a huff came out. Vaughan was unsure, but he thought the man looked pulled between exasperated and amused."
