Lord Cairo then compromises and forms a contract that gives them both what they hanker for, but there is just one thing in the contract that irks Emily the most. She is not allowed to fall in love with Lord Cairo and neither is he, but she is determined to change that.

Before agreeing and signing the contract Lord Cairo gave Emily a period of eight days before having to sign the contract and during those eight days she flaunted Lord Cairo and paid attention to his older half brother who also has an interest in Miss Emily. Now there is no choice for Lord Cairo to not gain Emily's attention and swoon her heart. Will the rivaling brothers still have a truce amongst themselves or will Miss Emily Strutford damage their relations.

All this for a woman? Yes indeed.
