Emu Otori is a 16 year old girl from Shibuya, Tokyo. After  deciding to explore the abandoned Wonder Stage, which she and her friends used to create shows with the purpose of making people smile, Emu was unlucky enough to have a major part of the stage fall upon her. In her unconsciousness, she meets a talking white cat who offers her a one-time deal. She shall become a magical girl and have one wish granted. Unknowing of the consequences and still in a half-asleep state, she accepts.
