Poetry of Broken Hearts My name is Jennifer Johnson and I am from a small town in Indiana. I began writing at an early age and the passion has stuck with me. I published my first poem through a contest in WorldPoetryMovement.com and was included in "Stars of our Hearts". After graduating college that same year I went on to publish my own work called "One Mind's Words". My second book was created later in 2012 called "Our Journey" with my two step-daughters.I have since published "One Mind's Words II" and "Random Thoughts". I have also co-authored "The World As I See It" with my step-daughter and "Generations" with my aunt Sophia Frazier. I was nomitated in the "Who's Who" of literary arts,am a member of the local Writer's Guild, and have been nominated Indiana Emerging Authors. I have also been featured in "Best Poets of 2012" by WorldPoetryMovement.com. My works can be found on Poetry.com,createspace.com, amazon.com, and kindle devices. http://booksandbostons.hpage.co.in/featured-authors_149045.html http://www.amazon.com/-/e/B009LR25A6 http://jennifer8302.tumblr.com/ http://jennifer8302.wordpress.com/ https://www.facebook.com/groups/293274040774984

She is an outcast. She finds it easier to express what she feels in the form of writing. Whether it is poems, letters or long texts. These are poems that she writes trying to describe how it feels to live with certain mental health issues, in a world that disregards outcasts. So, these are on the darker side of the spectrum. Some poems might be distressing for some readers. I personally enjoy consuming dark content, it's kinda like a coping mechanism. I really hope none of you relate with any of these :) I'll be posting only poems here, I'll try to be as active as I can. The poems are not in any order. They are just the thoughts that pop up any time of the day. (8.11.2023) PS: Please check out 'safe space'. I need your help to make it a real safe space, readers!
