With the Separatists first target being Naboo, The Republic has sent their own Senator Padmè Amidala to try to convince The Separatists leaders to not use Naboo. The Jedi have sent Jedi Master Qui Gon Jinn along with Jedi Knight Obi-Wan Kenobi to protect her on the journey...
