It's been 5 years since the war between the human kingdom of Xianle and the vampire kingdom of Yong'an started and the vampires are slowly claiming more and more territory. Feng Xin, along with his best friends, became platoon captains at the beginning of the war, all three of them skilled warriors. However after the New Moon Massacre, Mu Qing disappeared, many assuming he defected. Xie Lian believes he's dead, but Feng Xin still has hope he is still out there. He isn't wrong, however Mu Qing isn't as he remembers. Together, the two of them try to finally put a stop to the long war between vampires and humans as well as deal with the unspoken feelings between them. Yet Mu Qing isn't the same as he was before he disappeared, so how will this affect things between him and Feng Xin and any potential future between them, especially with a long and bloody war shadowed over both of them.
