Nashville 2006, Brandi climbs into the backseat of her friends car,driving 2300 miles to San francisco. When she ends up at a party for a girl she met once. she meets hundreds of people,most of whom are so unimportant the whole interaction is jumbled into all the rest, except for one.

US Open 2006, Art and his best friend have just won the boys junior doubles title. As a celebration they attend Tashi Duncan's party, they stand on the side and interact with only eachother while their eyes glaze over the faces of all the girls, but Arts eye catches one of them and his self control vanishes as he approaches her.
