People form teams to attempt finding the thing, to destroy all life they see as unnecessary, they further trick and murder each other to get what they want, including the thing... The search for destruction destroys everyone who reaches to the power.

A mysterious mansion with a lake, the old town, and a century old mystery. This family is tangled up in it. Can it be solved, the curse lifted? Are the disappearences connected?
