Then when old Captain Williams recognizes Victoria's necklace as being connected to a treasure known as the Wishing Stone all of the stories Victoria was told as a child became real and she has to try to keep the stone's power out of the wrong hands. (This is an original story and belongs to me. I did make the cover myself but I do not own the artwork I had used for it)

He was frightening and breathtaking at the same time. "A mermaid, aye?" he questioned as his gaze trailed down the length of my body. Grabbing my arms with one hand, he caressed my face gently, his thumb grazing my parted lips before they went below my hair twirling a single piece. I struggled from underneath him when he let the hair graze my breast underneath my blackened hair. Grinning at me madly, my eyes narrowed distastefully as his hand touched my crimson scales, stroking the tail almost lovingly. "Is this how you repay your saviour, pirate?"
