Caspian Jacques Andretti, the half French, half Italian loner with a complex past. His parents were murdered when he was 6 years old, leaving him mentally scarred. Despite the support of his uncle Hector and his closest friend/love interest  Marinette Dupain-Cheng, he feels his lacks a sense of purpose.  Until, he was mysteriously given a mysterious  jewel that granted him superpowers.

Melissa Beaumont-Wang, the orphaned  granddaughter of the current Guardian of The Miraculous, Wang Fu and the holder of the bat miraculous. She is tasked to find the holders of the cat, ladybug and sparrow miraculous.  A task proven difficult until she meets Marinette Dupain Cheng, Adrien Agreste and a certain loner with a love of archery, urban exploration and drawing.
