"Ms. Simmons nice to see you again" Dr. Hyler said as I walked into her office " You as well" I said as I sat in the red chair I come to find clarity in for the last three years. " How has this last week been for you?" she asked " To be honest my home life is in shambles, love life is non existing, work life is a complete drag in cement. My mental health is on the decline as the days wind down but I have two weeks until the day I am free. Free of the pain these last 4 years have carried. Two weeks until I refresh their flowers and give them a yearly update on me. I feel like I am being pulled in two different directions but with all this going on I realized that when I am with Cameron I feel at my most peace. Is that crazy of me ?" I asked " No its not crazy, you can't help how or when you emotions regulate around someone. For you it just happens to be your best friend." she said as she wrote a few notes down. " I am currently staying with him for a little bit and I have been at peace. Its almost scary." I said as I picked with my finger nails. Something I have done since a little girl whenever I am uneasy. " Well that is not too bad now is it? she asked as she looked over her glasses at me. " Honestly no it's not" I said " For homework this week I want you to write. Get a journal and write down what it is you see for yourself after graduation and what most do you want to obtain for yourself in the following weeks." she said as she closed her note pad. " Doc if I can be honest with everything I have been through a lot in my short life. I just want peace even if its just a piece of it. " I said as I walked out of her office back into reality.
