When a man who lives in poverty tries to rob a young king of his wealth, he is caught. Unexpectedly, the lonely king takes him in as his bodyguard and companion. The king fights to win the friendship of the man, but may end up winning more than that... if his newfound friend doesn't murder him first of course.

And while they're distracted, a new and incredibly dangerous king is rising to power. If not stopped, he may take over all six kingdoms and leave them all for dead, even if it means destroying the careful balance in which their world exists.

But like they say, when it seems too good to be true, most of the time it is. When there is a misunderstanding, the king accuses Annie of stealing and he kicks her out of the castle. Done with feeling rejected and alone, Annie decides it's time to find a way out. As she tries to find her way out, she starts to learn more about the curse and its people. She also starts to realize maybe the king is not as big of a monster as she thought. Even though most of Greyson is beautiful, something evil is lurking. Hopefully they learn about the threat before it is too late. This is a darker, steamier version of Beauty and the Beast. Strong sexual content, not suitable for anyone under 18.

At the dawn of the universe, there were many forces that were so powerful and destructive that they caused a threat to any life that emerged. Lives were often short, as storms of these powers hit often and there was no way to defend against them or escape in time. To fix this, many wise and powerful people gathered together and discovered a way to contain these powers. The Weapons were created, powerful artifacts that contained and controlled the primeval forces. Their creators decided to lock them away so that humans couldn't use them for greedy or evil purposes, but once one of them took two Weapons in his hands and tried to run off with them, there was a massive explosion that killed all of the creators (but left all of the Weapons unscathed) and wiped away all knowledge of how to create them. Word got out of the Weapons and fighting soon broke out over control of them. The so-called Weapon Wars raged for hundreds of years and conditions on earth were just as bad as before the Weapons were created. Soon, a group of people realized this, and started their own army to gather all the Weapons in secret. They succeeded, and formed the Wielders (name subject to change) to keep the Weapons out of the hands of those who wanted to use them for evil purposes. They decided to take a different approach to the creators, deciding to use them for the protection of humanity, but quietly without anyone knowing they had them. After thousands of years with nobody but the Wielders seeing the Weapons, belief in them began to falter, and they eventually faded out of history and into legends, with many doubting that they ever existed at all.

Then you started working your magic and you cosy up to the male lead who was supposed to get you killed or you make the demon lord fall in love with you so he can protect you from your imminent death.
