After centuries of incessant war, Reader finally managed to settle down into a normal human life; she attended medical school, bought a house, made friends that didn't make a habit of killing everything that moved. She was out of the life, out of Hell, and she was enjoying the fact. When a shattered Sam Winchester shows up on her doorstep after five years of silence from the man, however, Reader is forced to decide between delving back into the life--threatening everyone's safety in the meantime--or sacrificing the beloved Winchesters in order to keep the peace she managed to obtain.
[Takes place during season 10, so there will be some spoilers]
[Some swearing, fairly heavy alcohol usage throughout, violence (obviously)]
The Winchester story was supposed to end. But curses don't die easy.
They thought their story ended with Sam and Dean. But bloodlines don't die so easily.
Sarah Winchester, an archaeology student unaware of her true heritage, is about to learn that the shadows of Hell have marked her since birth.
And Dean, Sam's son-broken, reckless, and carrying the weight of a legacy he never asked for-must face a destiny darker than his nightmares.
When Lucifer himself steps back into the world, the game changes. Heaven won't interfere. Hell wants revenge. And the last of the Winchester line must decide what they're willing to sacrifice-before the curse consumes them all.
The hunt isn't over. It never was.
