Baneful Creatures is a perfect example of the Magical Realism genre, so much so that my teacher whose class I wrote it for praised it to the heavens and saved it to show future students. It is a passion project, laced with compelling themes and important critiques of today's society. If you do take the time to read my story, first of all, thank you!
