I go to her and when I'm close enough she pulls me under the duvet. My metal leg gets caught in the sheets, it would be much more comfortable to take it off, but I didn't want to in front of her. If you ignored the clang of metal every time I stepped on the floor, It didn't even look like a leg was missing.
I am so in need of her physical warmth that I don't even care that when we reach twelve she will have him there. Now, all that existed was the two of us. I try not to grieve in anticipation for the cold bed and my empty house had been awaits me in district twelve.

When I was eleven. My whole world changed. Katniss' dad died in a mining accident. You think it wouldn't affect me but I loved him just as much as Katniss did. We all know the story of the Mockingjay Rebellion. Sixteen year old Katniss Everdeen volunteers for her twelve year old sister for this event called The Hunger Games where twenty four children fight to the death and only one comes out as victor. A boy named Peeta Mellark was reaped alongside her. These two come out of the games as "Starcrossed Lovers". This caused a few uprisings in some districts. President Snow doesn't want another rebellion so he sends Katniss and Peeta back into the games with other Victors from each district. This causes a whole other war and this time, the districts pull out on top. The Hunger Games are ended and Snow is executed and everyone is safe again. Yeah, let's fast foward about fifty years.
