They all live in Fort Worth Texas. The live a happy life there. However soon Hot shot begins to feel unwell. He has a headache that won't go away, he is vomiting, he is tired, he is cranky and having trouble with his left leg. He starts to feel so bad his parents take him to his pediatrician. When Hot shot has a seizure at the doctor's office they are sent to Cook Children's Hospital for an MRI. Hot shot is then diagnosed with a brain tumor. The tumor is removed and biopsied. Then Hot shot is diagnosed with Atypical Teratoid Rhabdoid Tumor or ATRT a type of brain cancer. Hot shot is brave and ready to fight his cancer.
