An ancient legend tells of a Hero with the sword that seals the darkness, a Princess with the blood of the goddess with a sacred power of sealing, and a prince imbued with the triforce of spirit and a suit of armor as well as a blade of light both powered by the triforce of spirit.
As well as 4 champions from across the land. Striking down an ancient evil
100 years ago, preparations were being made for the return of calamity ganon with 6 people being dubbed Champions
They are
Jackson, the Prince of Hyrule and the Mighty Champion (OC)
Link, the Hylian Champion and the chosen person of the master sword
Urbosa, the Gerudo Champion
Mipha, the Zora Champion
Daruk, the Goron Champion
Revali, the Rito champion
And their leader Zelda, the Princess of Hyrule
When the calamity struck the 4 divine beast champions died and Link fell to guardians while protecting Zelda and Jackson was defeated by a blight ganon causing them to both be asleep for 100 years
Can Jackson and Link free all 4 divine beasts get their memories back get their equipment back
And defeat calamity ganon before Zelda's seal fades

A lot of work needs to be done to rebuild Hyrule, and to convince others to help will take a lot of work from Link and Zelda. Having all his memories back, Link is plagued with thoughts and memories of the Champions, wishing he could go back in time and save them. He can't focus on the past too much though, because an incredible threat has woken up, and will certainly destroy Hyrule if nothing is done soon.
