With the Mage captured and Alec riding their back, the ninja leave for the town of Lost Rock, where they hope to find the Overlord's daughter---along with answers about Lloyd's Baddie marking. But the answers they find aren't the answers they'd expected, and they realize their mission is far from being over.
	Thrown back into the action, the team battles betrayal, separation, and thousands more secrets that only leave them searching for more. Yet as they pick up new friends, as well as new enemies, the pieces of the puzzle slowly start to come together, and the truth about the past may finally reveal itself.
	That is, if the ninja can make sense of it before it's too late.

WARNING: This series contains dark themes and mature topics, such as mental health, abuse, death, and dark magic. Nothing should be much worse in terms of maturity than what was in Darkness from Within.
