Grian knows what the Watchers want. They want them to go through the rift, face whatever is on the other side, and take the hermits with him. He knows it's not safe, but defying the Watchers isn't something to be taken lightly. He must do what they want, or they'll burn his world and make him watch. 

In the land of Empires, everything is peaceful, and no one questions the purple rift that had opened up a few weeks ago. But as all the empires gather for the annual Olipelligo Festival of Light, something happens to the standstill rift. It opens.

This is the story of how two completely different sets of peoples are brought together by the Watchers. And one day, very soon, the same otherworldly beings will tear them apart.

These characters do not belong to me, they belong to the awesome people who create the videos I love to write about!

To describe Scar & Grian's relationship, it is one of complete and utter loathing. The two have a deep-rooted dislike for one another, always wanting to bully each other every time they come near. However, whenever they do pass or see each other, they would get this strange feeling of warmth and joy that fills their guts. But they don't know what this sensation is, they just know that it makes them want to bully and torment the other even worse. It's such a unique feeling, no one can explain it, not even themselves. They just know that the feeling is there and they hate it. They hate it so much that they wont admit it or even talk about it, it's something unspoken but still a powerful and driving force between the two. Grian hated it, hating that feeling of warmth and attraction that Scar was causing. This completely flipped their relationship, as Grian started to want more of Scar's attention. However, he felt so conflicted about this feeling as well, wanting to fight and torment Scar but unable to resist the charms as well. This story is inspired by the song Your Stupid face by Kaden Mackay I hope you like it! The art is from tobytoaster on tumblr but I made the cover myself by just conjoining the two pieces and added some text. COMPLETE 27th of January 2024
