Life can be a hell of a ride. How you make the best of challenges and obstacles is up to you. A poetic point of view sheds light on trauma and pain that it sometimes has to offer.
Despite the dark theme the poem may portray, there is a lighthearted message that is conveyed.
Think deeply, compare and contrast each stanza, separate the good from what may seem like the bad. (Interpret the text)
The poem represents an invigorating wisdom and fierceness when faced in an internal battle. The battle is trauma. The battle is internal. When you face trauma you tend to keep it bottled up. The pent up emotion sometimes turns to anger. The anger is the starting point to a battle, and there are obstacles to overcome to set yourself free.
Everyone has trauma, and it takes time to travel through the intense phases and heal.
Imagine the cascading waterfalls are the tears you've shed. The carnival is the wildest part of the journey. The carnival is fun, surprising, shocking, terrifying, unexpected, and maybe even a little humorous. The carnival is the conglomeration, the phases, and the many possibilities.
I hope this poem can help someone with their trauma, and maybe give you a little perspective.
