Myra Riley was a member of Task Force 141 before being transferred through the UNSC to Project Freelancer. Under the alias of Agent Maryland she moved up the ranks becoming one of the most prominent Freelancers. 

Not long after the formation of the Meta she gets transferred to Blood Gulch Outpost Alpha to unknowingly watch over the Alpha A.I. unit alongside Agent Florida. Becoming Private Riley once more, she vows to keep her and her new team safe.

Meanwhile on Earth, Task Force 141 is kept in the dark on her whereabouts. Ghost conducts a restless search for his daughter with the help of Laswell and the team.
