Mind games can become a constant thing because of lack of respect. A person can change for the worse. Cheating is a thing. A very common thing. You could never be seen as an equal. So, you change to fit their needs. Completely obliterating who you are just for you to be "crazy" in the end. Nothing will ever satisfy their needs because they aren't satisfied with themselves. But how will you find someone who is actually mature? Kehlani asks herself this routinely, knowing that there is simply no hope for the guys she is always around. They will not mature until they are old and gray. By that time she will have become an old cat lady. There is no point in waiting for the guys she knows to turn into the men she needs.
