Ryujin and Yeji were childhood best friends until Ryujin and her family had to migrate when she was 10.

Fast forward to 12 years later, they meet again - they just didn't know it yet.

Yeji was this competitive, strict captain of the volleyball team and they had just entered their first National League Championship. Everything was going fine - until their import encountered Visa issues and they had to recruit a new one.

Ryujin was a rising star in the US and while she was good, she lacked experience. So when an invite to play as an import from her home country came, she accepted.

Little did she know, the too uptight, no chill captain was the dearest friend that she had when they were young.

What will become of them when they finally realize that the universe has brought them back in the same path?

A Ryeji AU that's somewhat inspired by the new Filo sapphic Film "Rookie". But also kinda not. Please stay tuned!
