I'm a child of a missing wizard who was once famous. My dad was a champion for several races and treasure hunts. Everyone in my town was proud of him. Actually, I was somewhat famous too, as the daughter who brought shame to her father's reputation. In our world, wizards started showing magic abilities when they were young. They could see magical beings like fairies and unicorns and use magic items when they were infants. Typically, it happened within the first 100 days. We called it 'blooming' and celebrated the blooming day splendidly like a birthday. Unfortunately, while I was already sixteen, I could not bloom yet...
