That said, I do incorporate some real elements of hypnosis. For instance, some of the hypnotic inductions I include are realistic, albeit abbreviated. Also, you really can turn someone rigid like a statue after hypnotizing them, and you can even hypnotize someone to be very submissive, but only if they agree to let you -- it can't really be done against their will. Another example would be if you had a bad past, I guess it depends on how you look at it. But what if you had a secret, that could destroy the human race as we know it? Make the world seem that much more dangerous. More exciting. Add a new factor to everyday life. What would happen if everyone suddenly knew about your dark secret, or more importantly, what would they think of you? Would they push away, or join you on the crazy roller-coaster of life.
