Newhaven New York was the last place Anabelle Withers ever expected to find herself. In an attempt to leave her sheltered life in a small town with a population of only 400 people, she goes to live with her best friend who escaped the small town of Shadowgate only months before. Anabelle Withers reluctantly leaves the only home she's ever known, and doesn't expect the whirlwind of surprises that await her when she arrives at Newhaven. Her changed best friend is in love with the boy next door, and his best friend Gage Bradley happens to make Anabelle's heart throb the first day she meets him. Anabelle ends up living in the loft of her best friends apartment, with a door in her wall connecting to the boy's apartment next door. This door leads to Gage's room, it is locked but as their relationship strengthens it is slowly opened. Anabelle Withers leaves her comfort zone through the pages and ends up plunging into a world she never thought existed. The Doors to Newhaven is a story of laughter, love, new beginnings, and the unknown things that lie behind...closed doors.

Hayden, a fresh high school graduate with an itch for photography, something that wasn't mutually accepted by his mother. She always compared him to his military-serving older brother, Jack, who had set the standards of what was to be expected. In a last resort attempt, Hayden has to make the most significant choice of his life and does what he always threatened to do as a kid. Run away. With the help of a misfit-like individual, Hayden goes on an adventure of a lifetime. While unaware that his past is catching up to him. He'd inevitably have to decide how he wanted to live out the rest of his days, either as an office prisoner or a runaway.
