Kol didn't answer. His eyes had darkened - not dangerously, but hungrily - and his jaw flexed in a way she had never seen first thing in the morning.
"Darling," he said slowly, voice dropping, "you really shouldn't do things like that without a warning."
"Do what?" she asked, genuinely confused.
Kol leaned forward, his fingers brushing the edge of her sweater collar. "This."
Before she could say anything else, he cupped her jaw gently and kissed her - hard.
