Trinity Rodriguez is just a normal American high schooler. Her talent is acting. In fact, she's the president of her school Drama Club. But things aren't so easy for her.

The lead of her high school play...dies. His name is James Karol, one of Trinity's friends since elementary school. His parents are emotional and confused people who think he committed suicide. But Trinity doesn't think that. James was always an upbeat and happy person. What could make him...die?

Meanwhile, Trinity's drama club and boyfriend, Theo, start being distant from her. The drama club thinks she did something to James. No matter how hard Trinity convinces them, they don't believe her.

And Theo doesn't even wanna see her anymore. He always says he hanging out with "friends." 

And Trinity's best friend, Chloe, starts being rude to Trinity and ignoring her. Chloe always tells her she's busy. She doesn't ever wanna hang out. 

All of Trinity's friends are basically gone. She needs to fix that. 

And Trinity knows something is up. She needs to find out what happened to James, convince her drama club that she's innocent, she needs to find out why her boyfriend is being distant, and why her best friend isn't being herself.
