Rhiannon lives with her grandmother in a secluded village, hidden away from most civilization. As she fast approaches her sixteenth name day, she begins to see things that are gone the next moment. She can't tell her superstitious grandmother, who thinks ill of everything unusual. The only person who understands her is Ronin, the dark eyed stranger who lives in the forest.
Ronin has lived a horrible past and has been cast out of his community. When he finds Rhiannon and realizes she can see him, he undergoes a transformation that leaves him floored. He sees his salvation in protecting Rhiannon from her Sight. But as they fall in love, Ronin realizes he must tell her who, and what, he actually is.

School's a total nightmare, and things at home with mom are a hot mess ever since dad passed away. Just when you're about to throw in the towel, you wake up in a hospital room, and to your shock, your dad's right there with you, but nothing makes sense with the memories you keep. Before you can even process this bizarre reunion, you and your dad are victims of an attempted kidnapping, you being rescued by 4 mutant turtle brothers, who offer to help you find your father. As you get to know them better, you find yourself drawn into their world while trying to understand what's going on with your memories. Little do you know, there's more to your connection with these heroes than meets the eye. Eventual MC x Donatello relationship. A remake of Donatello and April's original relationship dynamic, but slow burned and unrushed, so they can build a true friendship before discovering that either of them have feelings for the other. --------------- I always felt like Donnie crushin' on April in the show was a bit off, especially 'cause she never felt the same way and it felt kind of forced. Chatted with my sis 'bout this ongoing plot in the series, and it hit me - the show could've been way cooler if April and Donatello had a tighter connection, giving 'em both the character development they deserved. Figured I had nothin' to lose, so this's what came outta that chat. Hope you dig it! First time putting words on paper, fingers crossed it ain't too shabby.
