In 2018, in the picturesque region of Montana, the Eden's Gate cult, led by the charismatic Joseph Seed, was steadily expanding its influence within the hearts and minds of the residents of Hope County.
Jane Seed, a newly appointed FBI field agent, is assigned a mission aimed at capturing the cult's leader and his inner circle. Orphaned by her father's disappearance during childhood, Jane has never come to terms with his loss. Despite years of searching, scarce clues, and countless leads, her father remains an enigma she is determined to unravel.
Accompanied by her uncle Cameron and the sheriffs of Hope County, Jane embarks on a dangerous mission that will test not only her abilities but also force her to confront her own past. As she draws closer to her objective, Jane begins to notice increasingly clear connections between her assignment and her personal history. With time running out, will she uncover the truth about her father and finally find inner peace, or will the mystery become an endless source of intrigue and danger?
