Ashton Wilcox is a small town girl who lives in Birmingham, Alabama. She is only days away from attending a new school as a junior. With her two best friends Ashley and Kayla who already attend the school Ashton thinks she's ready to face her junior year at Jefferson County High. It is only two days before school starts and she's already experiencing life-changing episodes. Ashton learns that her already secretive brother, William, is holding a secret that can change her life. After learning his secret she has to become part of it or else she'll die. Becoming part of this world is difficult for Ashton, mostly bonding with the group who also share this secret.
