Among the oppressed masses crammed into the tail section is Hannah, a once aspiring nurse, who has known nothing but hunger, cruelty, and darkness since boarding the train. And while many have grown numb or hopeless, Hannah's anger has only festered--she despises the rigid class system that keeps the elite in comfort while her people suffer and die in squalor.
