This story is about Abigail Lawrence and Jesse Atkinson.

They've known eachother since middle school but never thought of eachother as partners. Jesse fell first, Abigail fell harder. The perfect teenage romance, until it wasn't.

Jesse starting having feelings for Abigail the beginning of freshman year, four years after meeting eachother and becoming friends. He thought she was pretty, and she did have a glow up over the summer. He also liked the way she would make deep eye contact with him and then hide her face when she started blushing, and the way she'd laugh at his jokes like he was the funniest person in the world.

Abigail fell for him after he told her about his feelings. She had small feelings for him for a while but never really thought of it too importantly. When he told her she knew she liked him, like really liked him. she realized he had been flirting with her for a long time, but just thought of it as being friendly. She remembered how he would always throw an arm over her shoulder when hanging out or get touchy in pictures like put an arm around her waist and pull her close.

He said "i love you" first. She said it last.
