"Are you some kind fucking alien or something? How the fuck did you do that?!" My heart beats heavily against my chest as I stomp my foot on the gas pedal, causing us to jolt back in our seats.

"I don't know," Nova replies quietly, as I watch her bright yellow eyes fade into darker colors of yellow in the rearview mirror. She places her palm on her chest and breathes rapidly in and out.

"You don't know!" I shout as I return my gaze to the gruesome crime scene from which we are escaping. She just killed four men without touching any of them, and she's telling me she has no idea what she is?

"I don't know what I am!" She bursts out in rage, wide-eyed and clutching her chest tightly. What the fuck is happening?

Will Ivy Johnson join Nova on a road trip adventure to discover Nova's peculiar identity, a journey that will undoubtedly lead to an unknown variety of possibilities? All while helping Nova reconnect with her long-lost mother?

Or will Ivy Johnson just kick Nova to the curb?

The Virus Within: The Unranked (Book 4)

50 parts Complete

Season 4 of The Virus Within Trinity is familiar with zombies, being one herself, but when strange zombies start appearing, she realizes that the world she knew might be changing yet again. When a dangerous set of scientific notes are discovered, Trinity and her friends don't realize anything is wrong until a frantic radio call comes in. Unaware of the notes, they race to the south and struggle to determine where the strange zombies came from. The zombies are unlike any ranks previously seen, and they aren't as predictable. Some have new tricks hidden up sleeves, forcing any Stronghold they encounter to quickly adapt to the new challenge or risk being overrun. Secrets never remain hidden, and zombie apocalypses never make life easy.
