This is a short story that I wrote in the 7th grade for an assignment. I found it recently and thought I would publish it for old times sake.
Strange things have been happening. Snow in the summer? It may seen crazy but Cathrin thinks that she may know who's behind this, she just might not like what will come from it.

The Heavy Snow
After her class mate goes missing Poppy starts getting suspicious about who could have taken her. Or killed her......... As she grows closer to finding out exactly what happened someone or some thing else starts taking over her. Will she realize that something is wrong with her before she ends up hurting everyone she loves.... or even killing them. With an endless amount of twists and turns this is my seconds story and it is basically about a girl who does not realize what she is doing.... The Noble Academy has a group of people that are born with special abilities besides the other humans. They are called Elementals. These people are at the top of the school. So far, the known abilities are fire, water, earth and air. These people wear red cloaks and mask to protect their identities. What happens when there is a person that has all the abilities and more? Meet Winter Valentine. She knows what she is and she knows it must be kept as a secret. The elders of the Academy keep a close eye on her. Fearing that she can be a dangerous threat as she controls very strong powers. A dangerous power is approaching and not all the Elements can defeat them. "The world around her swam with mottled light. How long had she been fighting?" So...in sixth grade we took this computer-skills class. Our final test was to write a short story in Microsoft Word. My story ended up fleshing out into the trilogy I am working on and planning to publish at somepoint in my life, but I realized how incredible my writing skill has improved between just the two or three years.
