Adam tried to move towards the door again but found himself frozen in fear. Fuck, he hated being afraid of this prick.
Or: A week after the failed Extermination Day battle, Adam finds himself in hell. Despite being sure it's some kind of mistake, he makes a deal with Lucifer to stay safe and learns that maybe he doesn't remember Eden as well as he thought he did.
