Andromeda and Ominis have returned to Hogwarts to complete their sixth year of school, welcomed back by all their friends. Before she knows it, Andromeda is thrown into research about Isidora Morganach and asked to tutor a brand new first-year in potions by Professor Sharp. Meanwhile, Ominis becomes a prefect after a student forgoes their duties and tries to balance the extra workload while maintaining his relationship with Andromeda. Sebastian finally gives into Imelda's request and tries out for the Quidditch, while still holding onto the hope of finding his sister, Anne.

Anne always told him he could be very obsessive about things he wanted. The object of his current obsession is the talk of the school, she is gifted in most areas and is feisty. He is used to getting what he wants, why would this be any different? The obstacle in his way is her best friend, Ominis Gaunt.
