This book is built upon the framework and setting of the computer game Heroes of Might and Magic III. It creates a world teeming with diverse races-elves, humans, demi-humans, dragons, and more-bathed in the fantastical glow of swords and magic. It vividly captures the helplessness of heroes, sages, politicians, and ordinary people in the face of fate. Yet, none of them give up; each character, in their own way, fights with all their might to uphold the dignity of life.
