Intrigued Dezi decides to keep him around. If anything he could be an interesting test subject for her curiosity.

Hi there! This is my first fanfiction and I've never written anything like this, but I love this game and I love fantasy and RPGs so I wanted to try this out and started writing for myself. I really enjoyed writing it, so I decided to share it and I hope you'll enjoy it too. It's supposed to be a surprise but all leads she has found so far turn out to be a dead end. Her last option: Asking a gift of the Goddess she has worshipped ever since her family fled Menzoberranzan. But what she is asking proves to be too much for a lesser deity such as Eilistraee. The Goddess however does know a way... With the stakes raised Arista can no longer keep her secret from her lover. Will he embrace mortality for them, for himself knowing what it might cost the Paladin at his side? Or will he watch his true love age and die at his side, sparing her from the pain the path in front of them promises?
