This amazing story is about these beautiful two sisters, Katerina and Katrina Petrova. They were inseparable and shared a bond that was stronger than anything else in the world. However, their lives took a drastic turn when a vampire king killed their family and was the reasoning for them turning into vampires. As a result, the sisters were wanted for dead by the same king who had shattered their world.
Despite all the chaos, the sisters managed to survive and eventually changed their names to Katherine and Kathleen Pierce. In 1864 they found love in the Salvatore brothers, who were unaware of their true identity. But soon, their secret was out, and the townspeople destroyed all the vampires, leaving Katherine dead and the brothers turned into vampires.
Fast forward to 2009, and Kathleen was living a peaceful life when she unexpectedly ran into the Salvatore brothers and discovered that her sister was still alive.
