Atlas won his games at 17, after his games he met and married a girl a year younger than him named Cordelia, She died in childbirth with Enola, so it's been them against the world since then. The only people who have ever won the games in District 10 have been 17 year old men, so when Enola is reaped with a 17 year old boy for the 73rd hunger games, everyone had they're bets on who would win.
