Owen Thompson is a lovely boy who lives with his single father, older brother, and younger brother and sister. After his mother's death, Owen starts having nightmares and anxiety attacks about it. He is able to cope by reading and playing music. He hangs out with his best friends and meets newcomer Sadie who he falls in love with. Things seem to go just fine until it's revealed that Owen's younger sister isn't just any normal child and soon enough, almost every kid in Cloverdale learns that they each have supernatural abilities. Even their parents come clean and tell them about their abilities. When a scientist finds out about the supernatural children, she plans to kidnap them and use their DNA as a way to cure her sick son. When her daughter finds out, she decides to make an army of all the supernatural children and adults and try and defeat the scientist and her henchmen. Will they win? Or will some die?
