You ever looked at someone and thought you were probably in a dream? That they couldn't possibly exist in your reality? Like if you open your eyes or speak too loud they will just disappear and become one of those dreams you try so hard to remember but you can't? That is how i feel when i look at her, Kris. She has become so much more than an interesting girl, so much more than a gorgeous body, so much more than a girl i would mess around with for a couple of days. She is no longer a want, she is a need. i need to know everything about her, everything that makes her smile and everything that makes her cry. i need her to love me as much as i love her. I see the hurt in her eyes every time i look in her eyes, she tortures herself, her words are heavy with regret and self-blame and i want to be the one to save her from all of it, from herself. The world feels... stuck, repeating itself like a broken record. Shadows move where they shouldn't. Time bends in ways I can't explain. And the deeper I search for answers, the clearer it becomes-this isn't just about me. There's something out there, buried in the loops of time. Watching. Waiting. I'm different, I can read and see what people think. Every moment of everyday... it's not normal. I've been this way for too long. Ever since I saw my best friends dad die in front of my own two, once blue eyes. My now gold orbs, seeing the world for what it actually is. I always thought that the streets were a place that I was going to end up at. I always thought that I would end up dead on the streets because of... my disability. I always thought that I would have no family and no one to care about me as I cared for others. And yet, that all changed when she walked into my life. She brought me a family, and to this day, I could not understand why she chose me and not someone else. Not only did she walk into my life, but she also changed it. She changed it for better or worse, and I could not decide which was possible because she and her family were different. They were something much more than what people could see. And I was different. Not only was I blind, but I was also a Princess. I was a princess of this strange group, and I had been hidden away from birth. At the time, I did not know who I was being hidden from, but when I found out who I was hiding from, I was glad that I had been hidden.
