The Traveler returns to Inazuma when news spreads of the Island Nation once again being covered in a violent storm. Past lessons will be tested as the Traveler will learn what a God truly is.
Note: I am rewriting this story from the start as I wasn't able to continue it last time I started writing as I simply didn't know where to go with it. Now I have a much more clear idea of how the story will progress.
This story challenges what the term 'God' means, as in many stories a 'God' is nothing more than an incredibly powerful individual.
I stopped playing the game regularly a while back. I am not up to date on all the lore. So if you are an avid follower of Genshin, you may find some things in here that simply don't fit into the lore as you know it. So please just keep in mind, this is just a story for fun, I am not trying to be super accurate to the lore, and some things may be twisted to fit the narrative. This is a fanfiction, it is not intended to be an accurate continuation of the canon Genshin story.
I will also be writing this story with a gender neutral Traveler, so as you read the story, you can have the Traveler be either Lumine or Aether, it's your choice. I will, also be leaving out Paimon. I'm sorry for anyone who loves Paimon, and thinks she is integral to a Genshin story... but last time I was writing this story, I couldn't take things seriously writing Paimon. So for this, it's just the Traveler. Paimon is on temporary vacation in Fontaine.
Also the music is really just, some inspirational stuff I was listening to as I wrote this. It's not required to experience the story.

Fantasies and adventures. Those things were what I would usually dream of whenever I'm bored. However, for SOME REASONS, the Gods, or Archons, noticed my hyperfixation on them and decided to bring me to somewhere related. The worst part? It was when I was having a GOOD NAP. -on hiatus my inspiration has be all time low will put as complete for now- Aether and Lumine are traveling twins who have been to many worlds from many different time eras, upon one of their journeys together they are separated by an unknown god in the continent of Teyvat. Now Aether must travel the continent of Teyvat with his trusty friend Paimon to save his sister. A story that was I thought could be a dlcl for the game lol that introduces the ninth or possibly tenth god of Teyvat that much like the traveler comes from another world, but is here to stay here to change the wheels of destiny. Aether decides to live with no regrets and starts dating along with assisting this new god so he can use their power to return Venti's gnosis and defeat the abyss order. To what changing winds will this foreign god bring and what adventures await our heroes (This was also made before the teapot was invented in game lol. A voice was heard waking the traveller up when he open his eyes he was suddenly met with many people talking to each other, the one who wakes him up was none other then his companion known as Paimon the traveller question where they are when a girl with blue hair color answers him.
