The Traveler returns to Inazuma when news spreads of the Island Nation once again being covered in a violent storm. Past lessons will be tested as the Traveler will learn what a God truly is.
Note: I am rewriting this story from the start as I wasn't able to continue it last time I started writing as I simply didn't know where to go with it. Now I have a much more clear idea of how the story will progress.
This story challenges what the term 'God' means, as in many stories a 'God' is nothing more than an incredibly powerful individual.
I stopped playing the game regularly a while back. I am not up to date on all the lore. So if you are an avid follower of Genshin, you may find some things in here that simply don't fit into the lore as you know it. So please just keep in mind, this is just a story for fun, I am not trying to be super accurate to the lore, and some things may be twisted to fit the narrative. This is a fanfiction, it is not intended to be an accurate continuation of the canon Genshin story.
I will also be writing this story with a gender neutral Traveler, so as you read the story, you can have the Traveler be either Lumine or Aether, it's your choice. I will, also be leaving out Paimon. I'm sorry for anyone who loves Paimon, and thinks she is integral to a Genshin story... but last time I was writing this story, I couldn't take things seriously writing Paimon. So for this, it's just the Traveler. Paimon is on temporary vacation in Fontaine.
Also the music is really just, some inspirational stuff I was listening to as I wrote this. It's not required to experience the story.

But as he continues his life, learning that the new update of "That time i got reincarnated as a slime" manga was coming up that he wanted to download the story on his PC, he becomes to hasty in a rush, running towards his dormitory, not noticing his surrounding, causing him to accidentally be killed by Truck-kun on his way to his dorm room and meets a ROB (Random Omnipotent Being). To make amends for wrongful death, ROB grants him 5 wishes for his reincarnation into his next life. The man chooses to be reborn in the world of Genshin Impact as the Traveller "Aether" only difference is that, he is granted a better guide then Paimon being, Like "Great Sage" as well as being granted a higher form of elemental manipulation from around the anime multiverse. -on hiatus my inspiration has be all time low will put as complete for now- Aether and Lumine are traveling twins who have been to many worlds from many different time eras, upon one of their journeys together they are separated by an unknown god in the continent of Teyvat. Now Aether must travel the continent of Teyvat with his trusty friend Paimon to save his sister. A story that was I thought could be a dlcl for the game lol that introduces the ninth or possibly tenth god of Teyvat that much like the traveler comes from another world, but is here to stay here to change the wheels of destiny. Aether decides to live with no regrets and starts dating along with assisting this new god so he can use their power to return Venti's gnosis and defeat the abyss order. To what changing winds will this foreign god bring and what adventures await our heroes (This was also made before the teapot was invented in game lol.
