The Traveler returns to Inazuma when news spreads of the Island Nation once again being covered in a violent storm. Past lessons will be tested as the Traveler will learn what a God truly is.

Note: I am rewriting this story from the start as I wasn't able to continue it last time I started writing as I simply didn't know where to go with it. Now I have a much more clear idea of how the story will progress.

This story challenges what the term 'God' means, as in many stories a 'God' is nothing more than an incredibly powerful individual.

I stopped playing the game regularly a while back. I am not up to date on all the lore. So if you are an avid follower of Genshin, you may find some things in here that simply don't fit into the lore as you know it. So please just keep in mind, this is just a story for fun, I am not trying to be super accurate to the lore, and some things may be twisted to fit the narrative. This is a fanfiction, it is not intended to be an accurate continuation of the canon Genshin story. 

I will also be writing this story with a gender neutral Traveler, so as you read the story, you can have the Traveler be either Lumine or Aether, it's your choice. I will, also be leaving out Paimon. I'm sorry for anyone who loves Paimon, and thinks she is integral to a Genshin story... but last time I was writing this story, I couldn't take things seriously writing Paimon. So for this, it's just the Traveler. Paimon is on temporary vacation in Fontaine.

Also the music is really just, some inspirational stuff I was listening to as I wrote this. It's not required to experience the story.All Rights Reserved
