The Traveler returns to Inazuma when news spreads of the Island Nation once again being covered in a violent storm. Past lessons will be tested as the Traveler will learn what a God truly is.
Note: I am rewriting this story from the start as I wasn't able to continue it last time I started writing as I simply didn't know where to go with it. Now I have a much more clear idea of how the story will progress.
This story challenges what the term 'God' means, as in many stories a 'God' is nothing more than an incredibly powerful individual.
I stopped playing the game regularly a while back. I am not up to date on all the lore. So if you are an avid follower of Genshin, you may find some things in here that simply don't fit into the lore as you know it. So please just keep in mind, this is just a story for fun, I am not trying to be super accurate to the lore, and some things may be twisted to fit the narrative. This is a fanfiction, it is not intended to be an accurate continuation of the canon Genshin story.
I will also be writing this story with a gender neutral Traveler, so as you read the story, you can have the Traveler be either Lumine or Aether, it's your choice. I will, also be leaving out Paimon. I'm sorry for anyone who loves Paimon, and thinks she is integral to a Genshin story... but last time I was writing this story, I couldn't take things seriously writing Paimon. So for this, it's just the Traveler. Paimon is on temporary vacation in Fontaine.
Also the music is really just, some inspirational stuff I was listening to as I wrote this. It's not required to experience the story.

A 20 year old college student who is a HUGE Tensura ("That time i got reincarnated as a slime") fan, but also a huge fan of the world of genshin impact (created by HOYOverse), was going about his day as normal as usually, attending classes, finishing assessment's and so on, and so fourth. To make amends for wrongful death, ROB grants him 5 wishes for his reincarnation into his next life. The man chooses to be reborn in the world of Genshin Impact as the Traveller "Aether" only difference is that, he is granted a better guide then Paimon being, Like "Great Sage" as well as being granted a higher form of elemental manipulation from around the anime multiverse. Suddenly in the beach on mondstadt between stormbearer point and starnatch cliff a portal was open engulfing the people in it, when it's done the portal was gone leaving no one in Teyvat. A voice was heard waking the traveller up when he open his eyes he was suddenly met with many people talking to each other, the one who wakes him up was none other then his companion known as Paimon the traveller question where they are when a girl with blue hair color answers him. "I'm afraid we don't know where we are traveller" the girl said the room filled with many people talking to each other when suddenly someone speak that made them turn their heads to where it was. You guys are awake thank goodness." the random person said everyone was on guard and was about to pull out there weapon when they didn't feel it "I'm afraid weapons are not allowed here so as you're vision since magic is not true here."
