Leyra was nothing like her parents; she lacked the calmness her mother oozed and that silent brooding her father carried. She was loud, unapologetically herself and was, in simpler terms, wild.

When a series of unfortunate events lead to her being practically confided in her village, Leyra is stuck being a pillar for her family as her mother falls ill, her brother on the brink of becoming an adolescent and her father... well, being her father.

It isn't until fate leads her to Dreamwalker Jake Sully一a warrior of a so-called Jarhead Clan一where she begins to feel the old her return. Her hesitation for this alien is quick to shatter when she realises that this might be what she needed all along to escape and return to the feeling of adventure.

But lines are quickly crossed when they begin to toy with something forbidden. They shouldn't, but neither of them have ever been good at doing the right thing.
