Dahlia loved her Mommy and Daddy. How could you not love the people who saved you?
She is ripped away from her safe place though. Plucked out of her Daddy's arms and forced to live with the woman who took her from her parents, along with her wife . They act strange though, they do everything the opposite of her mommy and daddy.
The different rules, expected behaviors, and atmosphere are the problem for Dahlia though. She can only find solace in quiet time, but as she starts to write more, and remember more, Dahlia starts to realize things she never wanted to.
