Shay Tyler is the captain of the junior varsity ice hockey team as a freshman. The stereotypical captain, with the prominent abs and the bleach blonde hair that they get made, dye at the start of the year for playoffs. He has his people, his family, and his team.

Ashton Morgan is the newest member of the junior varsity ice hockey team as a freshman. The new kid at St. John's Prep, it was always the worst being a new kid, especially at boarding school where everyone knew everyone. He wasn't a stereotypical jock. Instead, he was always jumpy and never seemed to want to hang out with anyone.

Shay and Ashton, junior rivals. When they first met, they were both just kids on their rival Pee Wee teams, and now their on the same team in their junior year.
