The summer of my junior year in high school I fell, my accident prone and wild emotional behaviour led me to three unforgettable guys. There's no other word to describe what I felt for them, one was my first love, the other a lesson in love, the last someone I never saw coming for me.

The question of love crosses Evelyn's mind daily and until the summer of her junior year in high school she didn't know what it meant until she felt it, not once but twice. She'd waited all her life to feel the overwhelming emotions country songs sing about, poets write at length, and movies depict so grand. Surely, it can't all be made up or exaggerated, there must be real feelings and connections involved. That, or there's a bunch of people out there that are hopeless romantics feeling it for everyone else.

As summers spell takes effect Evelyn discovers what she thinks is love.
Heat and heartbreak drive her to the edge but with her head in the clouds and swept up in her busy summer job, Evelyn doesn't see the threat that could make this her last summer alive.
