As a child, Chloe was the spoiled, self-centered daughter of a powerful businessman, accustomed to always getting her way. But when she decided to leave her privileged life behind and move abroad, she was looking for more than just a change of scenery-she wanted a fresh start. Meeting the ridiculously handsome and irresistibly charming Mason at her father's friend's house? That wasn't part of the plan. Fast forward to the present, and Chloe is no longer the pampered girl she used to be. She's grown up, determined to carve out an independent lid that doesn't rely on her parents' wealth. To chase that dream, she heads back abroad to start over on her own terms. There's just one problem-actually, make that two. Chloe doesn't have a job or a place to stay. Enter Masonic her best friend's older brother, who steps in with a generous (and slightly nerve-wracking) offer: stay at his place until she gets back on her feet. It's just temporary, right? No big deal. But living under the same roof as the man who's effortlessly supportive and frustratingly irresistible? Chloe's about to find out that "no big deal" is easier said than done.
