It's been five years since the events of the Spencer mansion, not to mention the catastrophe of Raccoon city. A ton can change in five years, especially after a catastrophic event like that. Seeing what companies and people with power can do makes you think everyone would choose to find justice and take them down, but not everyone is morphed into that. There aren't very many sides to take, it's a choice between good or bad. Except, what about the middle ground? Those who shine light in some moments, yet steal it away the next. The ones in the middle, not leaning particularly either way.
Emmett Blaine was one of those people, an ex-sniping and stealth expert of the S.T.A.R.S Alpha team turned to the side after a nasty experience with both people and events. He became a mercenary, one who'd do just about anything for money. But what would he do once he's hired for a new job? Not just any job, he'd be working for the very man who betrayed him five years ago. He'd been running from his past for so long, but now, his past is catching up to him and he's forced to face it once more.
